History and mission

History

Founder Angelika Canal knows what is important for professional instruments for the manicure and pedicure.
In her profession as a podiatrist and beautician she recognized the need for high-quality instruments in the cosmetics sector.
At first, she was looking for a suitable splinter tweezers and quickly found out that there was no adequate quality on the market.

Angelika Canal founded the company Canal Instrumente in 1995 and set herself the goal of supplying Austria and the German-speaking countries with high-quality products.

In November 2017 - after more than 20 years - Angelika Canal decided to sell the company to two of her employees:
the former managing director Patrick Stampfer and the deputy managing director Stefanie Fink.
Because of many years of experience, Angelika Canal still works as an external consultant for the two young entrepreneurs.

Patrick Stampfer and Stefanie Fink have been working for the company since 2015 and have been passionate about the "canal" brand right from the start. The company currently employs 10 people and supplies pharmacies and specialist retailers with quality products.

Mission

We are specialists in high quality, professional instruments for manicure, pedicure and oral hygiene. Since 1995 we are an owner-managed Austrian company. We stand for top-quality products and storage that gives pleasure. We support our partners through innovative and sales-promoting product presentations.

We offer our customers excellent service. This allows us to build long-term and trusting relationships.

Our employees are motivated and enthusiastic. An open culture of conversation and strong cohesion characterize our cooperation.

A sustainable orientation is important to us, which is why we implement environmentally friendly measures and prefer regional cooperation.
